Why did you choose the Interior Design & Interior Design – Kitchen & Bath programs?

I decided to pursue degrees in Interior Design and Kitchen & Bath – Interior Design because I wanted to have a job I was excited to wake up and go to everyday. This field allows me to be creative, problem solve, and use my time management skills.

What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding?

Interior Design is so much more than making a space beautiful – it is about space management, safety, and organization. I love that I am able to use my imagination along with my problem-solving and organizational skills.

Why did you choose Fox Valley Technical College?

I chose FVTC because they offered programs that were of interest to me, close to home, and less expensive than a traditional 4-year university. FVTC also offers a ton of opportunities to get involved in student organizations which was important to me.

How did Fox Valley Technical College help you change your life?

I never thought graduating college in my 30’s was possible, but FVTC made me see that it’s never too late! FVTC has helped me see my own potential, learn to hone my leadership skills, and helped me learn how to juggle having a family, school, and a career.

What type of job do you expect to find after graduation?

I plan on working as a kitchen and bath designer upon graduation.
