FVTC VP Rayon Brown to Compete in Dance Competition

Rayon is raising money for the Children’s Cancer Family Foundation

This February, FVTC Vice President Rayon Brown will put on his dancing shoes and show off his moves to raise money for charity.

Along with nine other local leaders, Rayon will be participating in Just Dance 2026, a new community fundraising event presented by the U.S. Venture/Schmidt Family Foundation.

The event pairs local leaders with professional dancers to raise funds for local nonprofits and takes place at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 21, 2026. 100% of donations go directly to support essential services for people in our community.

Rayon serves as FVTC’s Vice President for Access, Community Engagement & Regional Operations. He is raising money for an organization to which he has a very personal connection; the Children’s Cancer Family Foundation (CCFF)—Rayon’s young son is a cancer survivor. Families facing pediatric cancer carry unimaginable burdens, and CCFF provides them with hope, relief and moments of joy when they are needed most.

Rayon is excited to step out of his comfort zone and onto the dance floor; bringing energy, heart and commitment to a cause that inspires him both as a leader and as a dad. “To me, it’s important for us to be present in the communities we live in,” he says. “I feel honored to be given a chance to represent and raise money for the CCFF. We should all do what we can to help out.”

Rayon is partnering with dance instructor Maddy from Boogie Ballroom in Neenah. He’ll receive 20 lessons to finalize his routine in time for the big event. When asked if he could give us hints on his dance number, he is coy: “I’m doing something different, but it aligns with me. A part of my identity is in my routine.”

Looks like we’ll just have to wait and see!
