Our Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center (AMTC) in Oshkosh was named in the August 2017 issue of electroindustry magazine, a monthly read published by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA).

The AMTC opened in 2013 as a co-branded specialized training facility with Miller Electric Mfg. Co. designed to address growing demands for skilled welders and metal fabricators throughout the region. Since its inception, the 30,000 square-foot center continues to house the latest in training technologies, including a robotic welding lab, a metallurgy lab, and more.

The article, “Creating Solutions to Shortages in Welding,” was written by Bruce Albrecht, vice-president of global Innovation & technology at Miller Electric. He is also a member of FVTC’s District Board of Trustees.
