Students Receive Boost with CARES Act

Students are benefiting from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. CARES is an emergency financial assistance fund that provides grants to students during a time when their college schedules and routines have been disrupted by COVID-19.

To date, the relief fund has given more than 800 FVTC students a financial boost to help keep them on track with their educational pathways, totaling around $680,000. Students are still encouraged to apply at www.fvtc.edu/FVTCcares
