The Fox Valley Technical College Foundation, Inc. is thrilled to announce that for the first time since forming in 1976, it has awarded more than $1 million in scholarships in a single year.

During the 2023-2024 academic year, more than 1,400 students received financial help to ease the burden of tuition and associated expenses.

“Awarding $1M in scholarships in a single year is a testament to the commitment FVTC Foundation has to students,” explains Becky Boulanger, executive director of FVTC Foundation. “The investments our donors make in FVTC students, especially those who have created endowed scholarships, have a life-changing impact. We couldn’t be prouder and more excited to have reached this milestone.”

The financial awards represent 388 scholarship funds made possible through giving from individual donors as well as local, state and national businesses and organizations.

One of the Foundation’s largest fundraisers for student scholarships is the FVTC Golf Outing. The event continues to sell out each year with 152 golfers. This August, the outing raised $120,000.
