Thank you to everyone who made the 37th Annual FVTC Foundation Golf Outing, presented by Miron Construction, an incredible success! Nearly $125,000 was raised to support students at the August 6 event, surpassing last year’s total by $5,000.

This success would not be possible without support from many business and community sponsors and a full field of golfers who filled Royal St. Patrick’s Golf Links in Wrightstown. Thank you to leading supporters U.S. Venture, Oshkosh Corp., Baird, Johnson Financial and Miller Electric for their participation.

We also appreciate the many FVTC employees who volunteered their time and supported the outing.

“It’s our students who benefit directly from this annual golf outing, with 100 percent of the proceeds supporting scholarships and grants annually,” said Becky Boulanger, executive director of the FVTC Foundation. “Each year, it never ceases to amaze me how our team, the FVTC family and our community of supporters increases their support. I’m humbled by the generous support by so many of our mission.”

Income from sponsorships, registration fees, the raffle and online auction are used to support FVTC student success, which may include scholarships, emergency assistance, and barrier removal.

The event included fun opportunities to support the FVTC Foundation, including a public meat and griddle raffle, online auction, golfer raffles, mulligans and yardsticks and other games. Meat and griddle raffle winners include:

  • 1st prize: Franny Milhaupt
  • 2nd prize: Mike Casper Sr.
  • 3rd prize: Troy Duborg
  • 4th prize: Drey Schmitt
  • 5th prize: Tim Vandenberg
  • 6th prize: Crystal Jome
