With a full class schedule and a new leadership role, Associate Degree Nursing student Jasmine Jackson has been serving as the 2025 Wisconsin Technical College System Ambassador for Fox Valley Technical College since March.

In this statewide program, one student from each of Wisconsin’s 16 technical colleges is selected annually to represent their school and promote the value of technical education throughout the state. Jasmine is proud to take on this role for FVTC.

Jasmine’s journey at FVTC began through the Career EXCELerate program, where she earned her Certified Nursing Assistant license. Her work in a local rehabilitation and long-term care facility confirmed her decision to continue her education.

“FVTC is designed to groom you into a powerhouse,” Jasmine explains. “The instructors are extremely supportive and push you to your full potential. You are equipped with educational skills and ready to perform in your chosen career.”

The ambassador selection process includes interviews, a presentation and a review of leadership, academics and career readiness. Jasmine’s story was recently featured in a video by Wisconsin Technical Colleges.
