Why did you choose this career program?

I’ve always wanted to work in healthcare but wasn’t sure which path to take. As I grew up, I realized how vital nurses are in patient care, always by their side, which inspired me to pursue nursing.

What are you learning about your career field that you find interesting or rewarding?

I’m learning how essential nurses are in providing medical care and emotional support to patients. The ability to make a real difference in someone’s life feels incredibly rewarding. Also, understanding the human body and how different treatments work is really fascinating.

Why did you choose Fox Valley Technical College?

I chose FVTC primarily because of its affordability. As I researched more about the campus, I discovered that the nursing program is excellent and aligns perfectly with my goals.

How has Fox Valley Technical College helped you change your life?

Fox Valley Technical College has given me countless opportunities to grow. I used to be very reserved, but FVTC helped me step out of my comfort zone and take on challenges I never imagined myself facing. The supportive environment has not only built my confidence but also prepared me for my future career. I’m immensely grateful for these opportunities.

What type of job do you expect to find after graduation?

I hope to find a job that allows me to grow both personally and professionally while making a meaningful impact on society. Whether in a hospital or nursing home, I want to be in a role where I can genuinely help people and make a difference in their lives.

What’s your best advice for someone who’s not sure they’re ready for college?

Take the leap with confidence, knowing that every challenge will help you grow and become stronger.
