Protecting Youth Online

June is Internet Safety Month

June is Internet Safety Month but protecting children while they’re online is a never-ending effort.

Joe Laramie, program manager with the National Criminal Justice Training Center (NCJTC) of Fox Valley Technical College, recently joined WBAY-TV to explain what children and their parents can do to create a safer space on social media platforms.

The NCJTC will assist in training during Protect Our Youth Online, a virtual event being held on Tuesday, June 28. This program is free and open to everyone.
