Kenya Hundley, a current student in Fox Valley Technical College’s Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing Technician program, received a $3,000 scholarship from the annual Bob Smith Memorial Golf Outing.

Hundley, who balances school with a part-time career as a body shop technician and auto service representative, aspires to work with various painting applications related to collision repair upon completion of her degree. Her studies at FVTC also include learning how to weld.

The golf outing is held in memory of longtime former FVTC Collision Repair Instructor Bob Smith and is supported by I-CAR. Recipients of the annual scholarship must demonstrate a willingness to learn, the commitment to success, and perseverance to never give up.
