New Programs and Flexible Options Welcome More Students This Fall

Fox Valley Technical College continues to attract more students for the 2025 fall semester by offering new programs of study and flexible options.

As classes begin Monday (today) at all FVTC campuses, regional centers and training centers, we’re excited to see not only an increase in enrollments but also that students are taking more credits this semester.

Here is a look at the start of the fall term by the numbers:

  • Enrollment at FVTC is trending up over the fall of 2024.
  • The college continues to see an upward trend in students enrolling in more credits. Programs that have seen the greatest growth are:
    • University Transfer – Associate of Arts: Registrations up 32%
    • University Transfer – Associate of Science: Registrations up 57%
    • Baking and Pastry Management: Registrations up 35%
    • Culinary Arts: Registrations up 15%
  • More than 200 students are enrolled in the Associate of Arts or Associate of Science program. Both transfer degrees meet general education requirements for students to transfer to a partner school with junior standing to pursue a bachelor’s degree. FVTC has transfer agreements with UW-Oshkosh, UW Green Bay, Lakeland University, Marian University, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Stevens Point and Ripon College.

In response to feedback from local employers who are experiencing gaps in the workforce, the college is offering several new educational offerings. These new programs include:

  • Office Management
  • Office Coordinator
  • Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary

As classes begin, the college is already planning for what’s next. FVTC’s Admissions and Advising teams are available to discuss options with students who may not be ready to start in the fall but want to explore possible late start options or create a plan to begin classes next semester.

FVTC is also getting ready for the biggest event of the year, Open House 2025. The in-person event will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 3-7 p.m. No registration is necessary.
