Fox Valley Technical College received a 2025 Paragon Award from the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) at the council’s national conference in March 2026 in Washington, D.C.
The college won a gold award in the Outdoor Signage/Displays category, recognizing the FVTC Marketing team for its work on the updated decals and paint on a semi tractor trailer. The Mobile Truck Driving Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art simulators and technology that mirror what students experience driving a real semi-truck. The vehicle allows FVTC to take training on the road and expand access to career opportunities in the transportation industry.
The truck and trailer were donated to the college by longtime partner Miller Electric but needed rebranding. Lead Graphic Designer Cara Jakubiec oversaw the project and created the design. The FVTC Transportation team coordinated the paint job: Fleet Manager Brad Hein managed the preparation of the rig and Diesel Instructional Aide Keegan Nordvold painted the trailer. Decals were installed by FASTSIGNS.
