FVTC Marketing Team Wins National Award

Fox Valley Technical College received a 2023 Paragon Award from the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) at the council’s national conference in Seattle in March 2024.

The college won a silver award in the Communication Success Story category, recognizing the marketing team for its work on telling the story of the Go Baby Go! program.

This initiative is a partnership between FVTC, Children’s Wisconsin and Go Baby Go!, a nationwide program dedicated to helping children with special needs gain independence by having their own customized vehicle. Eligible families start the process by meeting with faculty and students from the FVTC Occupational Therapy Assistant program and staff from Children’s to determine what modifications would be most helpful for the child. Engineering Technologies students involved in the Electronics Club then build the cars and make necessary adjustments. Learn more about the program >

The 2023 Paragon Awards drew 1,531 entries from 210 colleges across the country and was judged by 65 professionals from the marketing and public relations industry.

NCMPR’s Paragon Awards recognize outstanding achievement in design, strategy and communication at community and technical colleges. It’s the only national competition of its kind that honors excellence exclusively among marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges.
