Honored to partner with local CBS affiliate WFRV, the new weekly segment “Life on the Farm” will feature agriculture news relevant to the region. Led by FVTC Agriculture Instructor and farm expert Jeremy Hanson, the broadcasts and online stories are designed to cover a broad range of topics that highlight the innovations, challenges, and impact of one of Wisconsin’s key sectors.

Dovetailing a longstanding reputation of WFRV serving as a leading source for Ag news, FVTC and the network are looking forward to continuing the legacy establish by award-winning agriculture journalist Mike Austin. Austin retired in 2018 after 35 years of storytelling from farms throughout Wisconsin.

FVTC’s Agriculture programs are known nationally for their state-of-the-art facilities and successful graduate outcomes. For more than 75 years, the program has enjoyed robust partnerships with industry, and today provides training in other areas like horticulture, outdoor power, laboratory science, and natural resources.

“Life on the Farm” will begin airing in mid-August.
