Go Baby Go! ready to deliver mobility vehicles to local family

Media invited to capture brothers receiving the 99th and 100th vehicles

APPLETON, Wi., March 18, 2026—A large milestone is approaching for the Go Baby Go! program in Northeastern Wisconsin. On March 20th, partners from Fox Valley Technical College and Children’s Wisconsin will deliver its 99th and 100th custom mobility vehicles to two brothers from Neenah.

These specially designed, adaptive ride-in cars give children a new way to move and interact with friends and family, helping them gain greater independence. This event marks an important milestone for the program, which customizes vehicles for children with unique mobility needs at no cost to families.

The Go Baby Go! program supports children with mobility challenges by providing modified ride-in cars tailored to each child following an individual evaluation. Therapists at Children’s Wisconsin and FVTC Occupational Therapy students first assess the child’s mobility needs and conduct a fitting to determine the appropriate adaptations, ensuring the design encourages safe, independent movement.

Engineering Technologies students in the Electronics Club review the evaluation and make the necessary modifications for the child. These can include push-button controls, seat adjustments, extra padding or support structures, and other customizations that allow safe operation.

Reaching the milestone of the 100th customized vehicle delivery emphasizes the continued growth of this program and the impact it has on families throughout Wisconsin. Families can see if they qualify and apply to the Go Baby Go! Fox Valley program by visiting Children’s website.
